Pauline Schartz (Strobel) will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house and card party from 2 to 4 p.m. on June 29 at the Elk’s Lodge (south door), 1120 Kansas in Great bend. Friends and family are invited to attend.
Pauline Strobel was born on July 5, 1923 on the family farm in Stafford County near Seward. On April 28, 1943, she married Cletus Schartz of Ellinwood. She has a daughter, Marilyn Schartz of Great Bend; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
