Richard L. Ahlvers will celebrate his 80th birthday with an Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. on May 19 at 37 NW 48 Road in Great Bend. Hosts for the event will be his children, Alicia Ahlvers and Richelle Ahlvers Dolphin and husband Wade.
Richard was born on May 19, 1933. His wife is Kathy Ahlvers. He was a school administrator, retiring in 1997.
