Vernon Riemann will celebrate his 90th birthday with a gathering of friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on July 31, at the Beaver Fire Department building in Beaver and a card shower.
Vernon was born on Aug. 3, 1926, to John and Mary Riemann on the family farm north of Claflin. On May 26, 1951, he married Verna Pejsha in Dallas, Texas. They have a daughter Michelle who lives in Mount Sterling, Kent. with her and husband Dale Kunz. Vernon had two brothers Floyd and Harold; and one sister Elva.
