Cody and Kami Schmidt announce the birth of their son, Carter Joseph Schmidt, on April 6 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 in. long.
Grandparents are Mark and Dayna Smith and Ronald Schmidt, all of Great Bend, and the late Dorothy Schmidt. Great-grandparents are P.D. and Fritzie Smith of Great Bend, Les and Barbara Deighton of Macksville and LaVonna Schmidt of Garden City.
