LINDSBORG — Mezzo-soprano Mary Brown Bonacci will perform at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at the Birger Sandzen Memorial Gallery, 401 North First Street in Lindsborg. She will be accompanied by J. Bradley Baker on piano. The concert is a part of the Sandzen Gallery’s 2018-19 chamber music series.
Mary Brown Bonacci is an active vocalist who performs regularly in southern New England, Boston and New York. Recent opera performances include work with the New York Lyric Opera Theatre, as Santuzza in Cavalleria, Mother Goose in Rake’s Progress, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, and Zita in Gianni Schicchi. Bonacci is an associate professor in applied voice and music theatre at Westfield State University, in Westfield, Mass.
Pianist J. Bradley Baker enjoys an accomplished career as a soloist, collaborative pianist, vocal coach and educator. Baker has performed in concert halls throughout the United States and Canada. He is a dedicated arts educator and currently teaches music theory, directs the Music Preparatory School, and coaches vocal students at Tabor College.
