The Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist Church is hosting a music concert which is open to the public, featuring the Campion Academy music department’s Koinonia Choir, Bell Choir and Jazz Team. The ensembles will perform at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the church, located 1 mile west of 10th St. and Patton Road at 7 SW 30 Ave.

The Bell Choir will present “Come Thou Fount,” “Blessed Assurance,” and “Be Still My Soul.” The Koinonia Choir will sing “The Lord’s Prayer,” “Battle of Jericho” and “Nothing but the Blood.” The Jazz Team will present “Wade in the Water” and a finale of “Amazing Grace.”

This group of over 40 students is touring under the instruction of Naomi Fernandez. After leaving Colorado, they provided programs in Wichita, Topeka and New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church in northeast Kansas. Representing the Great Bend Church is Hannah Manase. One of the highlights of the year was singing the national anthem at a Denver Nuggets game.
