Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Cheney will celebrate their 73rd anniversary on June 20, 2021. Hoisington has been their home since 1952. 

They are the proud parents of two daughters, Carolyn and Jim Mitchell of Prescott, Ariz. and Jolene and Darrel Sparks of Perry, Okla.; grandchildren Shari Carter and husband Darrin, Daren Sparks and wife Laurie, Amy Mitchell, Wesley Sparks and wife Lindsey; great-grandchildren Braydan, Cassidy, Cale, Kendall and Lincoln; and great-great granddaughter Paisley.
