Barton County 4-H travels to Ellis County Air Rifle Match

On Saturday 10 4H’ers from Barton County traveled to Hays to compete in the Ellis County 4H Air Rifle Match. Not only was the weather very good but so were their results.
In the 10 and 11 year old division, Will Clark from Great Bend placed first.
In the 12 and 13 year old division, Dalton Dicks from Great Bend placed first and Woodson Corbett from Ellinwood placed 9th.
In the 14 year old division, Parker Smith from Great Bend placed first, Katelyn Reh from Ellinwood placed 2nd and Alivia Bautista from Great Bend placed 9th.
In the 15 and 16 year old division, Lake Lyman from Ellinwood placed 3rd, Caleb Straub from Great Bend paced 4th and Jace Schwager from Great Bend placed 6th.
In the 17 and 18 year old division, Ryan Kohman from Great Bend placed 4th.
There were 12 counties represented at the match. The Barton County team placed 1st in the team competition. The Barton County team was made of Katelyn Reh, Parker Smith, Lake Lyman and Ryan Kohman.
The next 4H air rifle match the Barton County 4H’ers will compete in will be held on March 21, in Pawnee County.
