Lathelda “DoDo” White of the Fort Larned Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution was awarded the Medal of Appreciation by Bobbie Hulse, WVP Kansas Sons of the American Revolution, for her referral of Justin Engleman as a prospective member in the SAR. Engleman was confirmed as a descendent of Phillip Engleman who served in the Virginia Militia during the American Revolution. He is now a member of the Society qualifying White for the award. The help of DAR member White is much appreciated. Men who feel that they may qualify for membership are urged to contact Engleman for additional information and advice about membership and the requirements for membership, in the hope of reestablishing a chapter in Great Bend.
