Pilot International Foundation was established in 1975 to support the community-based work of Pilot Clubs by promoting the awareness and prevention of brain-related disorders, and improving the lives of those affected by such disorders, through education, volunteerism, financial support, and research. Each year, the Great Bend Pilot Club supports the efforts of Pilot International through a multitude of community and individual care activities.
To celebrate Pilot International Founders’ Month, the Pilot Club of Great Bend membership chooses among its members one member that exemplifies the attributers of a Pilot.   The member chosen as the PI Ambassador must be active in an assigned role within the club, promote and support the aims of Pilot International and its activities, be active in a project that exemplifies the brain-related service focus of the Pilot International and be faithful in attending meetings and give generously of her time to assist with service projects and fund-raising activities.
The 2015-2016 Great Bend Pilot International Ambassador is Carol Dellinger. Carol has been an active and passionate member of the Great Bend Pilot club for many years and served as President as well as presently serving as club Secretary and our award winning Newsletter editor.  Our club Pilot International representative Joyce Beadles-Fry made the presentation to Carol and the Great Bend Pilot club asks that you join us in congratulating Carol Dellinger in this honor.   The club will make a donation to Pilot International to recognize Carol as this year’s Great Bend Pilot International Ambassador.
For more information on how you can become a member of this service organization, contact any club member or Betty Schneider, president.
