On April 16th, the Great Bend Saddle Club held their Third Annual Benefit Trail Ride. This trail ride benefited the Pawnee County Humane Society. To ride the riders brought bags of pet food that was given to the humane society along with proceeds from the poker hands. Participants were able to purchase tickets to play poker hands on electronic games. The top three poker hands won cash prizes.
The first prize of $100 was won by Kathy Stowell of Hutchinson; second prize of $75 was won by Kayla Maddy of Belpre; and third prize of $50 was won by Sam McGinnis of Great Bend.
The Club also presented club t-shirts to Linda Maddy of Larned for being the oldest rider, Sam McGinnis of Great Bend for being the youngest rider and Julie Mather of Douglas for traveling the farthest.
