The Hoisington Jets 4-H Club met at 7 p.m. on Aug. 23 at the Hoisington High School. The meeting was called to order by President Kayla Reisner. Roll call was answered to the question, “What was you favorite activity?” There were 12 members, two leaders, six adults and four guests in attendance. Secretary Tiffany Schneider read the July minutes which were then approved with no additions or corrections. Treasurer Desmond Noah gave the treasurer report. The submitted bills were paid. Reporter Kayleigh Bitter stated the July news had been submitted and appeared in the paper. Kayla read the council rep report. There was no parliamentary report.
The leaders gave an update report. They then reminded members of the club taking projects to the state fair that entries were due September 9 and 10 to the extension office. They announced that Drew Reisner and Kayleigh will be competing on the county FACS judging teams and Kayla will be on the Photography judging team. They also asked Desmond, Brinttain Noah and Kayleigh who went to 4-H Leadership Camp 86,400 to report at a later date on that experience.
Old business included a report on the club Fair Review at the Country Living Place. Kirk reported that nine members, one leader and three adults went.
