League of Women Voters of Great Bend has changed the meeting day and the site for the month of April. This is to accommodate the speaker, who cannot meet with League on a Tuesday. The meeting has been changed to noon on April 6, at the Classic Inn.
The speaker will be Sally Cauble, State School Board representative for District V. She will be discussing the challenges facing the state board at this time, how some may be rearranged, what to expect in the future from legislators, how to apply what they have, how Kansas schools compare to other states, and any issues the audience may have.
The luncheon is informal and questions may always be asked from the floor. Dialog is always expected. Guests are welcome to join in talking to a representative who is not often available here. Both men and women are invited.
