League of Women Voters of Great Bend will meet at noon on Tuesday at Classic Inn.
The program will be provided by Barton County Commissioner Jennifer Schartz. She will give an update on the state of the county and other topics of interest to the League. The county is in the process of renovating the county courthouse and she will have a progress report on that project. The floor is open to questions.
Lunch will be available from the buffet or menu. Meetings are open to the public. League is a non-partisan organization devoted to informing and educating the voting public on national, state and local issues of importance. Membership is open to men and women.
