The League of Women Voters of Great Bend will hold the monthly meeting at noon on Sept. 14 at The Club at Stone Ridge. Lunch will be from the menu. The speaker will be State Senator Ruth Teichmann, Republican from Stafford. She will be addressing the issues and problems the shortfall will have on the state and local programs funded by the state. Lunch will be informal, and time will be allowed for questions from the floor. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Come prepared to ask questions. They will be answered it possible.
League is a non-partisan organization dedicated to educating and informing the public on important national, state, and local issues. Membership is open to both men and women.
