The Progress Club met on April 2 at the First Presbyterian Church. Guest speaker was Carol Anderson of the KBI forensic lab in Great Bend. He shared facts about the operations of the local lab. The lab in Great Bend opened in 1974 and is one of four in the state. Computers support the  KBI staff in the monumental workload of documentation and keeping track of evidence. The key job of the forensic scientist is to extract meaningful information from the evidence.
