Progress Club met for its October meeting at the home of Kathy Schugart.  President Norma Ward presided and Vice President Judy Fox introduced Sally O’Connor of the Great Bend Community Theatre who presented our program. Sally gave a brief history of GBCT and its present home at the Crest. She previewed the upcooming productions and outlined ways Great Bend citizens can participate. The Crest is also available for rental for other events.  
The business meeting followed with roll call, reading and approval of minutes and the treasurer’s report. Dues are due for the current club year. A motion was made and carried to approve a donation to GBCT.
The next meeting will be Nov. 4, at the home of Pat Halbower.
