Progress Club met Feb. 2, at the home of Sharon Mauler with Darlene Boley and Sharon Jones as co-hostesses. Sixteen members attended. Judy Fox presided and opened the meeting  with a prayer. It was noted that Mary Ann Boyle has acepted our invitation to join and will attend the March meeting. A nominating committee will be appointed and announced at the March meeting.  
The program was a review of the book “The Parent” by its author, Diana Webster. In her discussion, Mrs. Webster spoke of the journey and  process which led  to writing the book and also read a few excerpts. She noted comparisons and connections in our lives both as children and parents.  
The next meeting will be at 1:15 p.m. on March 2, at the home of Linda Dougherty with Judy Turner and Norma Ward as co-hostesses.
