Rotary recognizes Paul Harris Fellows

The Great Bend Rotary Club recently honored five new Paul Harris Fellows. They were Rotarians Ed Mauler, Devin McMillen, Dr. Patrick Stang, Dr. Tom Vernon and Rotary Spouse, Anna Burke. Rotarian Gary Burke was honored as a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow.

District 5670 Governor Peter Marcus from Ness City made the presentation. A Paul Harris Fellow is a Rotarian that has contributed $1,000 or more to the Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus, or the Humanitarian Grants Program of Rotary.

Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto "Service Above Self."
