The Kansas Authors Club, District 6 will hold it’s semi-annual meeting at 1 p.m. on Aug. 22 at the Great Bend Library.
The theme for this meeting is “Old Time One-room Schools.” There will be a display of old school memorabilia at the meeting.
There is a $5 fee that can be paid at the meeting. All writers are invited. Writers of books, poetry, memoirs, newspaper articles, short stories, children’s stories, family history, etc.
There will be a “book table” where you can bring a book to leave and/or pick up a book to take and enjoy, reading, (bring something you have written or are working on), sharing, visiting, writing (as time permits), and prizes. Snacks will be provided.
