Auditions for the next Great Bend Community Theater production will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, and at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at the Crest Theater, 1905 Lakin Ave. The next play, “Happy Birthday Dear Grandpa,” is a comedy about a cantankerous grandfather who thinks his grandkids are trying to kill him for their inheritance. But when grandpa unexpectedly dies at his birthday party, the kids suddenly become murder suspects.

The play will be presented Feb. 26 through March 1.
