Eleanor Miller of Great Bend will celebrate her 100th birthday with a reception from 1-3 p.m. on Sept. 29 at Perkins Restaurant meeting room, 2920 10th St. Hosts for the event will be her children, David Thomas of Great Bend and Carol Huslig of Grand Junction, Colo. 

Eleanor was born on Oct. 5, 1918, in Alden.
