Tom and Kay Burns of Great Bend, and Kelly and Shawn Conine of Scott City, announce the engagement of their children, Alli Burns and Zach Conine.  Grandparents of the bride-elect are Lois Brichacek of Great Bend and Clarence Burns of Great Bend, and the late Elizabeth Burns. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Kenny and Jacque Snow of Scott City.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from  Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Services. She is employed as the community development manager by the Scott Community Foundation.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Scott Community High School. He graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences and Industry.  He is employed as a territory business manager by Pfizer Animal Health.
The wedding is planned for May 4 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Great Bend.
