Lonnie and Joyce Carter of Great Bend, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cayci Carter, to Luke Ellis, son of Leslie and Lois Ellis of Downs, currently residing in Stockton.
The bride elect is  a 2001 graduate of Great Bend High School. She will graduate from Fort Hays State University in December with a degree in Organizational Leadership. She is employed by Ace Hardware in Wichita as a bookkeeper.
The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Downs High School. He graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College and is currently pursuing his associates’ degree. He is employed by Tyson of South Hutchinson as a maintenance mechanic.
The wedding is planned for April 30 in Las Vegas, Nev.
