Michael Miller and Kristen Cook announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Mickey and Lanise Cook of Abilene and Tim and Kathy Miller of Great Bend. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Floyd and Thelma Longenecker of Abilene. The prospective groom is the grandson of Delbert and Norma Tunks of Great Bend.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Chapman High School. She attended college at Olathe at MidAmerica Nazarene University and graduated from Regis University in Colorado. She is a mental health therapist.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Great Bend High School. He attended MidAmerica Nazarene University and graduated from the University of Louisiana-Monroe with a master’s degree in Exercise Science. He is employed in Hugoton as a high school weight training/physical education teacher and a football coach.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 28 at the Junction City Church of the Nazarene.
