Mike Corbett of Sioux Fall, S.D. and Kelly and Mary Evans of Elwood, Neb., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Jo Corbett, to Adam Wade Behrendt, son of Jeff and Stella Behrendt of Herman, Neb. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Ruth Corbett of Ellinwood and the late Edwin Corbett, Ralph and May Vohs of Lyons and Inez Vohs of Haysville.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Pawnee Heights High School. She graduated from Southeast Community College in 2005 with an associates degree in John Deere Ag Parts Marketing and Management. She is employed by Mid America Computer Corporation in Blair, Neb.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Tekamah-Herman High School in Tekamah, Neb. He graduated in 2004 from Southeast Community College with an associates degree in John Deere Ag Tech. He is employed by Bennington Equipment in Elkhorn, Neb. and is a self-employed farmer.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 27 at Country Bible Church in Blair, Neb.
