Eric and Janet Dowson, of Great Bend, announce the engagement of their daughter Amber Lynne Dowson to Matthew Kurtis Koch, son of Kurtis and Debra Koch, of Great Bend. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Eleanor Rindt of Salina and Dean Dowson of Hershey, Neb. The prospective groom is the grandson of Lewis and Norma Klausmeyer of Goddard.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2011, she graduated from Barton Community College and is currently attending Fort Hays State University. She is self-employed as a photographer and housekeeper.
The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2011, he graduated from Barton Community College and is currently attending Fort Hays State University. He is self-employed as a window tinter.
The wedding is planned for May 25 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend.
