Ruth and Daniel Duling of Girard,  announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Anne Duling to Jason Ottley Michael Reid, son of Naomi and Clifford Reid of Trinidad, Wis.
The bride-elect graduated summa cum laude from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Music Education in 2010. She is a vocal music instructor for USD 355 in Ellinwood.
The prospective groom received a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts with honors from the University of the West Indies in 2006 and a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Painting from the University of Arkansas in 2010. He is a graphic designer at Central Plains Computer Service in Great Bend.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 31, at the United Methodist Church in Girard.
