Mark and Cathy Esfeld of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter, Darcy Esfeld, to Mike Foley, son of Steve and Debbie Foley of Olathe.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2007, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Kansas State University and in 2011 she graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed by the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City as a Registered Nurse.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Olathe South High School. In 2006, he graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. He is employed by Steve Foley Construction in Spring Hill as a home builder.  
The wedding is planned for Oct. 18 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe.
