John and Janet Evans of Lawrence announce the engagement of their daughter, Kara, to Kenneth Titus, son of David Titus of Great Bend and the late Anita Titus.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Free State High School in Lawrence and a graduate of Oral Roberts University. She is employed as a District Representative for Senator Jerry Moran in Manhattan.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Great Bend High School. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Art degrees from Kansas State University prior graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law. He is employed as a Staff Attorney for the Kansas Department of Transportation in Topeka.
The wedding is planned for October in Lawrence.
