Tom and Rita Hickel of Hoisington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Reba Hickel to Kyle Kohn, son of Galen and Doris Kohn of Dodge City. Grandparents of the couple are Betty Mae Axman of Olmitz, Gloria Hickel of Claflin and Louise Downey of Dodge City.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Hoisington High School. In 2012, she graduated from the Barton Community College with an Associates of Applied Science degree. She is employed at Barton Community College as the admissions secretary in Great Bend.
The prospective groom is a 2006 high school graduate of Dodge City High School. He is employed at High Plain Farm Equipment in Kinsley.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 4, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Hoisington.
