Tracey and Kelly Hoffman of Claflin announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Marie Hoffman, to Dereck Lynn Hollingshead, son of Richard and Carol Hollingshead of Wichita. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Bob and Vera Henning of Great Bend, Leroy and Donna Hoffman of Mt. Vernon, Mo., and the late Nancy Hoffman. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Elmer and Barbara Schuette of Wright, Melva Hollingshead of Wichita and the late Orie and Evedna Hollingshead.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Claflin High School. In 2009, she graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She is employed as a CPA with Adams, Brown, Beran and Ball, Chtd.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Kapun Mount Carmel High School. In 2011, he graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Networking. He is employed with CPI Qualified Plan Consultants as a 401K plan administrator.

The wedding is planned for July 9 at Immaculate Conception Church in Claflin.
