Michael and Margaret Joern of Chesapeake, Va. announce the engagement of their daughter Julianna Joern to Brett Klepper, son of Daryl and Janice Klepper.
The bride-elect attended school in Norfolk, Va. She is employed as a nurse at Eastern Virginia Ears, Nose and Throat Clinic.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Great Bend High School. He attended Butler Community College and the University of Kansas. He is currently serving in the Navy as a reactor operator on the USS Harry S. Truman stationed in Norfolk, Va.
The wedding is planned for March 9 in Lexington, Va.
