Chris and Patti Lanzer of Overland Park, announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Lanzer, to Todd Sherman, son of Dennis and Jann Sherman of Great Bend.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School. She graduated in December from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. She is employed by the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood as an associate producer.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated in 2009 from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. He is employed by Garmin International in Olathe as a software engineer.
The wedding is planned for April 16 at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood.
