Dan and Alicia Lear announce the engagement of their daughter Katie Lear to Cory Zimmerman, son of Ray and Donna Zimmerman.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and has her masters from UMKC in Special Education. She is a Special Education Teacher at Great Bend Middle School.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelors degree in Sociology. He is the Parts Manager at Harper Camperland.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 8, at Camp Aldrich.
