Doug and Susan Leiker of Sabetha, announce the engagement of their daughter, Hillary Anne Leiker of Lawrence, to Adam Ryan Gerstner of Lawrence, son of Marsha Gerstner of Great Bend. Grandparents of the bride-elect are the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Skolaut, Jeannie Leiker of Hays and the late Marvin Leiker. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Loren and Arlene Schamaun of Great Bend and Al and Virginia Gerstner of Peculiar, Mo.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Sabetha High School. In 201, she graduated from  Z Hair Academy in Lawrence. She is employed as a cosmetologist at Hair Experts and is a cheerleading coach at Free State High School, both in Lawrence.
The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2010, he graduated from Washburn University with a degree in Finance. He is employed as a commercial claims representative with Nationwide Insurance in Lawrence.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 27, at Stony Point Hall in Baldwin City.
