Mark and Sharon Lessard of Larned announce the engagement of their daughter Alexandra Lessard to Seth Filbert, son of Dan and Becky Filbert of Macksville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Herb and Kathy Bowman of Larned. The prospective groom is the grandson of Adella Banks and Ruth Filbert.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Larned High School. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communicatiosn in the public relations sequence. She is employed as the Development Associate for the Kansas 4-H Foundation in Manhattan.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Macksville High School. He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy. He is currently pursuing his masters degree in Agronomy. After graduation, he will be an agronomist and consultant for Crop Management, Inc. in Macksville.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 12, in Larned.
