Brad and Connie Mauck of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter Kendra Mauck of Lenexa to Russell Heinen of Merriam, son of Kent and Margie Heinen of Seneca.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Education and in 2010 with her master’s degree. She is employed by Nieman Elementary in Shawnee as a third grade teacher.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Nemaha Valley High School in Seneca. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Engineering Management at KU. He is employed by Mac Process in Kansas City, Mo. as a senior design engineer.
The wedding is planned for June 15 at Queen of the Holy Rosary in Overland Park.
