Steve and Brenda Ohnmacht of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Ohnmacht to Sam Trahan, son of Kim and Ruth Trahan of Great Bend.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2009 she graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree and in 2015 from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She is employed as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Dr. Chad A. Ohnmacht DDS, LLC in Great Bend.
The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2007 he graduated from Manhattan Area Technical College. He is employed as a HVAC Technician at Comfort Pro in Great Bend.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 17 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.
