John and Carolyn Phelan announce the engagement of their daughter, Bailea Phelan, to Derek Hoetmer, son of Larry and Tina Hoetmer.
The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Life Sciences. In 2013, she graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. She is employed as an RN, BSN.
The prospective groom graduated in 2013 with a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. He is a landscape architect.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 26 in Wichita.
