Carol Schartz announces the engagement of her daughter Nicole Schartz to Darin Hertel, son of Gary and Diana Hertel. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Dale Schartz.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Ellinwood High School. In 2015, she will graduate from Fort Hays State University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She will begin teaching first grade at Eisenhower Elementary School in August.
The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2011, with a Bachelor in Business Communications degree. He is employed as a parts advisor at Marmie Motors.
The wedding is planned for June 20, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Great Bend.
