Dr. Janet Splitter of Lorraine, announces the engagement of her daughter, Elizabeth Splitter, to Matt Lansdowne, son of David and Kathy Lansdowne, of Hutchinson. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Dr. Melvin Splitter. Grandparents of the bride-elect are the late Vernon and Melva Splitter and the late Willard and Lois Janssen. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Margaret Lansdowne and Dr. Kenneth and Maxine Burkhard, all of Manhattan, and the late Robert Lansdowne,
The bride-elect graduated from Quivira Heights High School in Bushton. She graduated from Tabor College with a bachelor of arts degree and from Wichita State University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She practices at Advanced Physical Therapy in McPherson.
The prospective groom graduated from Buhler High School. He graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Engineering. He is employed at Data Center, Inc. in Hutchinson, as a programmer.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 12 at the First Baptist Church in McPherson.
