Tony and Bobbie Walden announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandie Walden, to Jared Boone, son of Dan and Linda Boone.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Cheylin High School. In 2010, she graduated from Academy of Hair Design. She is employed by Hairware in Hays.
The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2013, he graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Studies. He is employed as assistant supervisor for Paul-Wertenberger Construction in Hays.
The wedding is planned for June 14 at Walden Farms in Bird City.
