Garth and JoAnn Frydendall of Great Bend will celebrate their 65th anniversary on Oct. 10, 2020.

JoAnn Jewell and Garth Frydendall were united in marriage on Oct. 10, 1955 at the First Assembly of God Church in Osborne in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Harold Hollis. Garth is retired from Great Bend Feeding Inc. JoAnn is retired from Dilly’s Restaurant.

They have two children, Debbie Evers (Daryl) of Olathe and Brenda Axman (Paul) of Hoisington; four grandchildren, Derek Evers (Heather) of Norman, Okla., Deren Evers of Kansas City, Douglas Axman (Jenn) of Hoisington, and Dawna Konkel (Devin) of Kansas City; and two great-grandchildren, Harrison Evers and Adalynn Axman, both of Hoisington.
