GB Adventist school presents spring program
SDAtone-bells-2021
Children at the Great Bend Seventh-Day Adventist School practice playing tone bells for their spring program, which will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The students of the Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist School have been presenting Vespers programs for the church throughout this semester. This year this group includes students in grades 3-6.

These students, under the direction of teacher, Mrs. Sherry Larson, have been preparing for public speaking by presenting sermonettes centered around various Bible concepts. Alan Ramahatantsoa presented “Journey Beyond the Stars” about the second coming of Christ. Hannah Manase presented “The Forgotten Dream” about Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. Alek Ramahatantsoa presented “Beyond Imagination,” which described heaven. Samantha Escobedo explained “The Forbidden Tree,” which described the sin of Eve in the Garden of Eden.

This Saturday at 7:30 p.m. the public is invited to share in a message presented by third-grader Aileen Escobedo that describes the heavenly judgment, “Alone Against a Giant.”

Doris Reile has instructed the students on tone bells and they will present five songs and sing some of their favorite selections. This 1-8 grade Christian school is located one mile west of 10th and Patton at 7 SW 30 Ave. For additional information call 620-791-7314.
