Gene Beck of Hoisington will celebrate his 90th birthday from 2-4 p.m. on July 6, at the Tap Room South on Main Street in Hoisington. Hosts for the event will be his children, Marlene Beck, and Randy and Daphne Beck, all of Great Bend, Allan and Anne Beck of Claflin, Ron and Susan Beck of Derby; his eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Gene was born on July 10, 1929.
