Gerald Mauler will celebrate his 80th birthday on Feb. 27, 2019, with a card shower. A celebration will be held at a later date with his immediate family.

Gerald was born on Feb. 27, 1939, at St. Rose Hospital in Great Bend. In 1960 he was united in marriage to Lois Stoss at St. Ann’s Church in Olmitz. He was a mechanic for Marmie Motors until 1975 when he started farming.

Gerald and his wife have five children, Kevin Mauler and Pollie Unruh, Kathy Fischer, and Jeff and Sally Mauler, all of Great Bend; Connie and Bill McKee of Colleyville, Texas, and Shelly and Deron Taylor of Olathe; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
