Jerry Hayes, program technician for Barton County Farm Service Agency, was recognized for his nine-plus years of dedicated service with the United States Department of Agriculture – Barton County FSA. He was presented a certificate and USDA emblem from the State Executive Director David Schemm on Wednesday in Great Bend. Hayes is retiring Jan. 4, 2019, and will be greatly missed for his expertise in payment eligibility and disaster programs.
