Holiday wreath workshop offered
Lauren Fick

Celebrate the holidays with a beautiful, live wreath. Join Cottonwood Extension’s, Lauren Fick, for an evening of floral design and wreath building. In this workshop, participants will join via Zoom and have a full hour of creative time, while Lauren guides them through the basic floral design principles.

Participants will learn how to create a modern door wreath with fresh, winter greenery. Each paying participant will receive a box of materials that include a 16-inch wreath frame, over 7 feet of live greenery, a wreath hanger, pinecones, floral wire, and more. Fick will teach about the different types of greenery and techniques for using them in a wreath or floral design.

“The best part about this workshop is that you get to participate from the comfort of your own home,” sponsors said.

The workshop will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3. For participants who would like materials, the cost is $35 per participant and there is a limited amount of materials available (first 25 people). Registration closes at 5 p.m. on Nov. 16 and participants who want materials must register and pay by then to secure their spot. Participants who are interested in the free Zoom link are asked to call the office by Nov. 16 to register. Further details will be sent out via email after registration is complete.
