ELLINWOOD — Student Library Assistant Gracyn Dombroski has focused on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and they have been featured in our Check It Out column. Today is our last Senior Spotlight for 2024, and he is Israel Torres.

Israel is a senior at EHS. His favorite book is “At the Edge of the Universe,” because everything about it was really good. Israel’s favorite quote is “May your life be like Italian bread, long with a lot of dough in the middle.”

Mrs. Moore is his favorite staff member, because she doesn’t treat anyone wrong; she’s just a genuine person. Mrs. Moore’s 4th hour class is Israel’s favorite, because it’s a smaller class. His advice for incoming students is to listen and probably use a folder. We wish Israel the best of luck in his senior year.
